Shadow Program
Not a classroom. You're on set with me for a paid client day — pre-production, load-in, interview setup, directing and wrap. Every posted day is booked right now. Get on the list and you'll hear first when the next block opens.

Inside The Day
Schedules, locations and access depend on the selected project.
Who It's For
You don't need the most expensive gear. You do need to be professional, coachable and discreet.
The Investment
The Shadow Program is paid — they take a real client project, real prep and real access to make happen. Payment is only collected after your request is approved and your day is confirmed.
Production / Interview Day
Studio or on-location corporate work — interviews, brand video, headshots. A tighter, more controlled schedule with room for questions between setups.
Conference / Event Day
A full event day: early load-in, long hours, multi-service coverage and live turnarounds. The closest look at how a large corporate day is actually run.
Travel, parking, lodging and meals are not included. Due to the nature of live client work, confirmed Shadow Program bookings are non-refundable.
The Process
Pick a posted opportunity or join the waitlist and tell me your experience, your business and what you want to walk away with.
I check whether you're a fit for that specific client and whether the project can hold a shadow without affecting the day.
Approved requests get the details — general location, date, call time, services being provided and anything required to attend.
Your spot locks once agreements are complete. Then you get arrival instructions, dress code, confidentiality terms and expectations.
Read This First
You're walking into a live client project, not a controlled teaching environment. The client and the deliverables come first — always. Some questions have to wait, some rooms and conversations are off limits, and you may be asked to step back while sensitive client matters get handled. That's the lesson, not a limitation.
Hands-on shooting isn't promised. Whether you touch a camera depends on the client, the venue, production needs and your experience level. The value is watching the decisions, communication and leadership that clients never see and courses can't recreate.
Not every project can host a shadow. Client approval, confidentiality, venue rules and production size decide which days get released — so only a small number ever go public, and requesting a day doesn't guarantee a spot.
It's a hands-on day where you join me on a real paid corporate shoot. You'll see pre-production, load-in, interview setup, directing talent, and wrap — not a classroom, an actual client day.
No. The program is built for creators at all levels who want to see how corporate productions run. Some days are better suited for beginners, others for working pros — we match you to the right shoot.
You'll observe and participate where safe and appropriate: helping with gear, watching lighting decisions, seeing how I direct interview subjects, and understanding client communication from load-in to wrap.
Two tiers. A video production or interview day is $450. A full day at a conference or multi-day event is $575 per day. Payment is only collected after your request is approved and your day is confirmed.
The $450 day is a studio or on-location production — interviews, brand video, headshots — typically a shorter, more controlled schedule. The $575 conference day is a full event day: early load-in, long hours, multi-service coverage and live deliverable turnarounds.
Comfortable all-black clothing, closed-toe shoes, a notebook, water, and any camera gear you want to discuss during downtime. A detailed prep email is sent once your spot is confirmed.
Shadow dates are posted as client bookings confirm, usually 2–6 weeks out. Waitlist subscribers hear about new openings first, often before dates go public.
Yes. Use the request form on any posted opportunity, or join the waitlist and reply to the confirmation email with your preferred region. We use that to plan travel dates for the Shadow Program.
Bring it — but shooting is never guaranteed. Gear and shooting rules depend on the client, the venue and the production. The Shadow Program is observation and mentorship first; hands-on time happens when the day allows for it.
Only with written approval. Corporate work involves private information, protected branding and attendees who never agreed to be filmed. Assume no recording until I tell you otherwise.
No. Transportation, parking, lodging and food are on you unless the posted opportunity says otherwise. Pick a shoot day you can realistically get to.
No. The Shadow Program isn't employment, an internship or an associate-shooter spot. It can absolutely help you understand the standard I hold — but it doesn't promise future work or referrals.
Life happens. Just reply to your confirmation email as soon as possible so we can offer the spot to the next person on the waitlist.
